Terms of Sale
Version 1.1 · Last updated: 5 November 2026 · NeuroHub Connect CIC
From 5 November 2026 these services are provided by NeuroHub Connect CIC (NeuroHub Connect Community Interest Company, company number 17563945).
These terms apply when you buy anything on NeuroHub Horizons. They follow the same rules as the NeuroHub Connect Terms of Sale, written for what we sell here.
In short
- We are NeuroHub Connect CIC, a company registered in England and Wales. We run the courses together with Autistic Realms.
- Everything sold on Horizons is digital: the course bundle and pre-recorded webinars. You get full access straight away.
- Because you get instant, full access, you give up your 14-day right to cancel, and there is no refund if you change your mind. At checkout you tick a box to agree to these terms and to confirm this.
- If something is faulty, does not work, or is not as described, tell us and we will put it right or refund you. Your legal rights are not affected by anything on this page.
- The monthly bundle has a minimum of 6 monthly payments. After that you can cancel at any time.
1. Who we are
- Registered name: NeuroHub Connect CIC
- Registered in: England and Wales
- Company number: 17563945
- Registered office: Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE
- Email: enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org for questions, orders, cancellations and complaints.
- VAT: we are not registered for VAT, so we do not charge VAT on anything we sell.
“We”, “us” and “our” mean NeuroHub Connect CIC. “You” and “your” mean the person buying. The courses are created in partnership with Autistic Realms (Helen Edgar). Your contract is with NeuroHub Connect CIC.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you buy from horizons.neurohubcommunity.org:
- the course bundle (both courses, paid monthly or yearly, including any launch offer);
- pre-recorded webinars.
Some products have their own website and their own terms, which also apply when you buy them, even if you click through from Horizons:
- Re-Storying Autism (bought on its own): restoryingautism.co.uk terms. These follow the same rules as this page.
- Autistic Identity: autistic-identity.online terms.
- NeuroHub Publishing: publish.neurohubcommunity.org terms.
- Tips and Ko-fi memberships, such as the Phoenix widget licence, are paid through Ko-fi, and Ko-fi’s own terms also apply to the payment.
- Products from other companies that we recommend, such as PhiliaSense, are sold by those companies under their own terms. We are not the seller.
These terms sit alongside our AI policy. If you are buying for an organisation, section 9 applies to you as well.
By placing an order you accept these terms.
3. Prices, currency and tax
We trade in pounds sterling (£). The price shown is the total price, and we do not add any charges at the last step. We are not VAT registered.
If you are outside the UK, the checkout may show and charge you in your own currency. Our payment processor does the conversion at the rate that applies at the time. Refunds are made in the currency you paid in, to the same payment method, so the amount may differ slightly because exchange rates move.
4. How an order works
- Payment is taken securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Before you pay, you see the total price and, for subscriptions, how often you will be charged and any minimum term.
- Before you pay, you must tick a box to say that you agree to these terms, that you want access to start straight away, and that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel. You cannot buy without ticking it.
- Placing an order means you are agreeing to pay. The contract is made when Stripe confirms your payment and we send you a confirmation by email.
- Access is linked to the email address you use at checkout. Please check it before you pay.
5. Digital products and your right to cancel
You normally have 14 days to change your mind about something bought online. That right does not apply to digital content once access has started, if you asked for it to start straight away and agreed that you lose the right.
Everything sold on Horizons gives you full access immediately after you pay. So, when you tick the box at checkout, you give up your 14-day right to cancel. Our digital products are not refundable if you change your mind.
This does not affect your rights if something is wrong. If a course or webinar will not open, does not work, is faulty or is not what was described, email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org and we will fix it or refund you (see section 10). If you were charged twice or in error, we will refund the extra payment.
If something is not right for you in another way, email us anyway. We will listen.
6. The course bundle
What you are buying
Personal access for one person to both courses, Autistic Identity and Re-Storying Autism, for as long as your subscription is active. Each course is delivered on its own website.
Price and billing
- Monthly: £24.99 a month, with a minimum of 6 monthly payments (£149.94 in total). After the 6th payment it continues month by month until you cancel.
- Yearly: £129 a year. It renews each year until you cancel.
- Launch offer: when it is open, the first 5 people to buy the yearly bundle pay £79.99 a year instead of £129. That price stays the same for as long as you stay subscribed without a break. Once the places are taken, the offer ends.
How to cancel
Email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org and say you want to cancel. We will not ask you why, and we will not ask you to phone anyone.
- Monthly: you can cancel once the 6th payment has been made. If you tell us during the first 6 months, we will make sure it does not renew after that, but the remaining payments for the minimum term are still due and your access continues until then.
- Yearly: you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal. We do not refund the unused part of a year.
After you cancel, your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops, and you will not be charged again. Your progress is kept, so if you come back later you can carry on where you left off.
If a payment fails
Stripe will try again and we will contact you. We do not charge a fee for a failed payment. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and access to both courses ends with it. If you are within the minimum term, the payments for the rest of it are still due.
Price changes
We will not change your price during the minimum term. After that, if we change the price, we will email you at least six weeks before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then.
7. Pre-recorded webinars
- What you are buying: personal access for one person to watch the webinar online, as often as you like, for as long as we offer it. It is a single payment, not a subscription.
- Your link: we email you a private link. Please do not share it. If you lose it, use the watch page and we will send it again.
- If we withdraw a webinar you have bought, we will give you at least 7 days’ notice so you can watch it again. If we cannot, we will refund you.
8. What you may do with what you buy
You buy a personal licence to use the course or webinar for your own learning, and to support your own family or your own practice. You do not own the copyright. The videos, text and workbooks belong to their authors.
You may not share your login or links, copy, record, resell, republish or upload any of it anywhere. If several people at your organisation want access, email us about a group licence.
The courses and webinars are education and reflection based on Autistic-led theory and lived experience. They are not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice. If you or someone else is in crisis or at risk, contact local emergency or crisis services.
9. Buying for an organisation
If you are buying for an employer, school, university, local authority, NHS body or other organisation, the consumer rights on this page do not apply to you. Access is licensed to named individuals. If you want several people to have access, or want to pay by invoice, email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org and we will price it. A self-employed practitioner buying in their own name is usually still a consumer.
10. If something is wrong
Your legal rights stay with you. Nothing on this page reduces them. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for purpose. If it is not, you have the right to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
You do not need to quote any of that at us. Just tell us what has gone wrong and we will put it right.
11. Complaints
It is fine to complain. We would rather know. Email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org with “Complaint” in the subject line, or write to us at Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. You do not need to use any particular words. Someone else, such as a friend, family member, support worker or advocate, can complain for you if you tell us their name.
- We will confirm we have your complaint within 3 working days.
- We will give you a full reply within 20 working days, or tell you before then when to expect it.
- We will keep it confidential, and tell you what we decided and why, in writing.
Complaining will not affect how we treat you or anything you have bought. If you are not happy with our reply, ask for it to be looked at again by our Chief Operating Officer, Adele Murray, or our Chief Executive Officer, David Gray-Hammond. We will reply within a further 20 working days. If we still cannot resolve it, we will tell you about independent dispute resolution.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for your statutory rights in section 10, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Otherwise, if we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. Our responsibility for any one order is limited to the price you paid for it, or £500.00 if that is more. We are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity. If you are buying for an organisation, our responsibility is limited to the amount paid for the order.
13. General
We may change these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order. For subscriptions, we give notice of changes as set out in section 6.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protections your own country’s law gives you that cannot be taken away by agreement.
If you need this page in a different format, email us and we will send it to you that way.
